      If the data obtained as a result of a cardiogram is not enough to establish a diagnosis and prescribe therapy, and the patient needs outpatient ECG monitoring, daily (Holter) monitoring is prescribed. For this purpose, a holter is used - a compact portable device that continuously records the patient's heart rhythm for a certain time period - from 1 to 48 hours - the duration of the study is determined by indications. The information is stored on a memory card and then analysed.
