MOC-9 (ANI) module for Masimo Root monitor
The MOC-9 module is a specially designed device for the Masimo Root monitor, which can be used to determine the ANI value. ANI (Analgesia Nociception Index) is designed to monitor the tone of the parasympathetic nervous system in adults and children from 2 years of age (there are also versions for newborns) in anaesthesiology, intensive care units. The system is based on the analysis of heart rate variability and respiratory arrhythmia. The ANI index is the result of more than 20 years of scientific research and has been validated in clinical practice.
