Harwind: working during the war

05 April 2022

Our country has been heroically resisting the invaders for two months now. Companies operating in the Ukrainian market have faced unprecedented challenges to continue their operations in a full-scale war.

Harwind, despite the difficulties and danger, is doing everything possible to ensure that the country's medical system works, jobs are saved, and doctors have the opportunity to save and treat people.

Harwind is making every effort to provide medical institutions in Ukraine with crucial equipment during the war. In particular

- anesthesia and respiratory equipment;

- wound treatment devices;

- operating theatres tables and lamps;

- X-ray machines, ultrasound machines;

- endoscopic equipment;

- patient monitors, etc.

The uninterrupted operation of our company is also important for the Ministry of Health of Ukraine to provide medical institutions and the Armed Forces of Ukraine with vital medical equipment during the war.

Harwind is doing everything possible to keep Ukraine's economy running in this difficult time for everyone, to ensure its resilience after the victory.

During the war to date, Harwind has:

- provided UAH 1.5 million in financial assistance for helmets and body armour for the Armed Forces and the terrorist defence;

- paid all current taxes in full on time;

- paid income tax in advance for the whole of 2022 in twice the amount of 2021.

All Harwind employees, despite air raids, explosions, lack of communication, and Internet, whether in Ukraine or other countries, are making every effort to keep the company moving forward.
