19 August 2022Thematic improvement cycle "Ultrasound examination of patients in the practice of a family doctor".
The purpose of this course is to teach family doctors to use ultrasound equipment in their professional activities. Thanks to this, primary care physicians can make more accurate diagnoses at the initial visit (for example, cholelithiasis, urolithiasis, ascites, nodular goiter, oncological screening, etc.)
The main points that will be covered in the course:
- The relevance of the problem. The main general approaches to ultrasound examination. Preparation for ultrasound examination.
- Ultrasound examination of unaffected organs (normal).
- Diagnostic management of ultrasound in organ damage. Ultrasound criteria for acute pathology.
- Immunoprophylaxis issues.
Venue: Shupyk National University of Healthcare of Ukraine, Department of Family Medicine and Outpatient Care, andaddress: Primary Healthcare Centre №2, 22 Svobody Avenue, room 232.
